隨著我國的經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展，國際化進(jìn)程腳步日益加快，英語學(xué)習(xí)的重要性也日漸突出。目前英語是中小學(xué)校義務(wù)教育階段重要的必修學(xué)科之一，由于種種原因，大部分隨遷的農(nóng)民工子女在英語學(xué)習(xí)方面水平低下。因此，了解影響農(nóng)民工子女英語學(xué)習(xí)的因素，提出有效的解決方法，對于激發(fā)農(nóng)民工子女的英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣，提高英語學(xué)習(xí)能力具有重要的現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
一、農(nóng)民工子女英語學(xué)習(xí)現(xiàn)狀
在調(diào)研中，我們對寧波市3所招收農(nóng)民工子女的初級中學(xué)進(jìn)行了抽樣調(diào)查，抽樣對象包括初一年級的農(nóng)民工子女和城市學(xué)生，現(xiàn)狀分析如下。
與城市學(xué)生相比，農(nóng)民工子女的英語基礎(chǔ)相對薄弱，大部分農(nóng)民工子女自認(rèn)為自己的英語水平較差，而大部分城市學(xué)生則認(rèn)為自己的英語水平屬于中等偏上。授課教師認(rèn)為農(nóng)民工子女與城市學(xué)生確實(shí)存在較為顯著的差距，學(xué)習(xí)興趣也不濃厚。調(diào)查中，有近一半的農(nóng)民工子女對英語學(xué)習(xí)缺乏興趣，這一點(diǎn)也在任課老師處得到了印證。農(nóng)民工子女缺乏興趣主要表現(xiàn)為被動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)，課堂不能集中注意力，課后不能主動(dòng)學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)習(xí)的態(tài)度有待改善。通過對教師和家長的調(diào)查，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)大部分農(nóng)民工子女的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度并沒有得到老師、家長的J可。具體表現(xiàn)為作業(yè)敷衍了事，不愿多花時(shí)間思考，正確率低；幾乎不主動(dòng)預(yù)習(xí)和復(fù)習(xí)。接近四成的受訪家長表示其孩子每天學(xué)習(xí)英語的時(shí)間少于半小時(shí)。
另外，農(nóng)民工家庭中家長的學(xué)歷普遍較低，高中以上的家長屈指可數(shù)，很多家長甚至從未接受過英語教育，難以為孩子提供相關(guān)輔導(dǎo)。很少有家長為孩子報(bào)名參加英語補(bǔ)習(xí)班，但還是會為孩子購買一些如輔導(dǎo)用書、復(fù)讀機(jī)等資料和工具。
二、影響農(nóng)民工子女英語學(xué)習(xí)的因素
通過文獻(xiàn)梳理和實(shí)際調(diào)查，我們認(rèn)為影響農(nóng)民工子女英語學(xué)習(xí)的因素主要包括學(xué)生自身因素、家庭因素、教師及學(xué)校因素等三個(gè)方面。
（一）學(xué)生自身因素
與城市學(xué)生相比，農(nóng)民工子女在英語學(xué)習(xí)中有以下顯著的特點(diǎn)。1.學(xué)習(xí)基礎(chǔ)薄弱。農(nóng)村小學(xué)或者民工子弟小學(xué)的英語教學(xué)起步時(shí)間晚，師資力量欠缺，對英語教學(xué)重視不足。導(dǎo)致學(xué)生難以打下堅(jiān)實(shí)基礎(chǔ)，影響以后發(fā)展。2.學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī)不明確。在日常生活中，農(nóng)民工子女缺乏運(yùn)用英語與外國人交流的機(jī)會，對英語的理解與運(yùn)用僅僅停留在課堂和書本中，體會不到學(xué)習(xí)英語的成就與樂趣。英語學(xué)習(xí)僅僅是應(yīng)付學(xué)校要求，難以在思想上真正重視。3.學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣不科學(xué)。課堂上大多不能集中注意力聽講，極少發(fā)言、交流。在課外沒有良好的聽讀、背誦詞匯句式的習(xí)慣，對于課后非紙質(zhì)作業(yè)，多忽略不做。對于紙質(zhì)作業(yè)存在馬虎、遲交、漏交、抄襲等問題。此外，缺乏學(xué)習(xí)主動(dòng)性，幾乎沒有預(yù)習(xí)、復(fù)習(xí)、上課做筆記的良好習(xí)慣。4.學(xué)習(xí)興趣不濃厚。農(nóng)民工子女對于現(xiàn)有的初中教材內(nèi)容，包括課文、語法、句式等適應(yīng)度不佳，在學(xué)習(xí)英語時(shí)普遍自信心不足，難以產(chǎn)生成就感，甚至存在畏懼心理。隨著年級的升高，英語學(xué)習(xí)難度逐漸加深，其接受、掌握新知識的信心會越來越弱，基本失去了學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣。5.性格原因。開朗的性格是學(xué)習(xí)英語的有利心理因素，外向的學(xué)生在英語口語學(xué)習(xí)上更占優(yōu)勢。農(nóng)民工子女小時(shí)候生活在農(nóng)村，進(jìn)入城市后大多較為內(nèi)向，加之學(xué)習(xí)水平、生活條件等與城市學(xué)生存在差距而易產(chǎn)生自卑心理，導(dǎo)致學(xué)習(xí)上更加被動(dòng)。
（二）家庭因素
良好的家庭氛圍是提高孩子學(xué)習(xí)水平的重要保障，農(nóng)民工家庭與城市家庭相比有自身的特點(diǎn)。1.家長文化水平偏低。較低的學(xué)歷說明大部分農(nóng)民工英語水平低下，有的甚至從來沒有接受過英語教育，難以在學(xué)習(xí)上給孩子提供指導(dǎo)。導(dǎo)致農(nóng)民工子女經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)有問題得不到解決、知識無法鞏固、作業(yè)質(zhì)量難以保證的情況，進(jìn)而影響其學(xué)習(xí)的效果。也未能真正了解英語學(xué)習(xí)的重要性，因此在學(xué)習(xí)上對子女的要求并不高，相比于學(xué)習(xí)，農(nóng)民工更關(guān)注孩子的生活狀況。2.農(nóng)民工工作強(qiáng)度大。農(nóng)民工在城市中多從事體力勞動(dòng)，工作時(shí)間長，薪資較低，且工作不穩(wěn)定。長時(shí)間在外工作導(dǎo)致農(nóng)民工把重心放在工作上，缺乏對子女學(xué)習(xí)的有效監(jiān)督，使得子女在英語學(xué)習(xí)上較為松懈。3.居住環(huán)境不理想。農(nóng)民工因流動(dòng)性強(qiáng)，一般租住在其工作的城鄉(xiāng)結(jié)合部，多為民房、工棚，空間狹窄擁擠，條件簡陋，周邊環(huán)境比較嘈雜，衛(wèi)生臟亂，人員成分復(fù)雜，難以為農(nóng)民工子女提供一個(gè)良好的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境，甚至極易讓他們沾染上不良習(xí)氣。
（三）教師及學(xué)校因素
民工子弟有其自身的特點(diǎn)，教師授課方法和學(xué)校環(huán)境不一定能夠很好地契合他們的需求。1.教學(xué)方法不適合學(xué)生需求。大部分的農(nóng)民工子弟學(xué)校乃至城市中學(xué)中，英語教師在內(nèi)容上主要以講授語法、單詞、課文內(nèi)容以及書本問題為主，在方法上多為填鴨式教育，口語練習(xí)的時(shí)間較少。教師主導(dǎo)課堂，未能把課堂還給學(xué)生。在課堂互動(dòng)中不能充分考慮到民工子弟的性格特點(diǎn)。造成民工子弟易被忽視。2.師生關(guān)系不盡融洽。大部分教師都跟農(nóng)民工子女有過英語學(xué)習(xí)上的溝通交流，但多是站在老師的立場上，不能設(shè)身處地為學(xué)生著想。由于多數(shù)農(nóng)民工子女較難管理，很多老師有時(shí)難以做到心平氣和地與學(xué)生交流，這也導(dǎo)致一些農(nóng)民工子女對教師產(chǎn)生畏懼感，使得師生關(guān)系疏離。3.教學(xué)軟實(shí)力較弱。民工子弟學(xué)校在英語教學(xué)硬件上已有很大進(jìn)步，但在一些軟件方面與城市學(xué)校相差甚遠(yuǎn)。特別是師資力量的差距將很大程度上制約民工子弟的英語學(xué)習(xí)。
三、對策建議
若要從整體上提高農(nóng)民工子女的英語學(xué)習(xí)成績，單靠任何一方的力量是不夠的，需要學(xué)校、教師、家長三方的共同努力。
（一）注重引導(dǎo)，培養(yǎng)興趣

四、結(jié)語
農(nóng)民工子女的英語學(xué)習(xí)問題具有一定的特殊性，所以在處理時(shí)往往存在著一定的難度。要想提高農(nóng)民工子女整體的英語水平，需要教師、學(xué)校、家長三方的全力支持，更需要學(xué)生自身的努力。只有通過多種途徑，讓農(nóng)民工子女聽得懂英語課、有興趣學(xué)習(xí)英語、有信心學(xué)好英語，農(nóng)民工子女英語學(xué)習(xí)問題才能得到較好的解決。

The rural life is the life for me. I like living out in the wide-open spaces where you can smell the fresh air and see the beautiful grasslands. Milking cows every morning involves squeezing their utters to release the milk contained in the milk sac. A saline solution needs to be prepared for the cows as their salinity has to be maintained, but they can't receive too much salt, or else the saltiness of their milk will be too high. Feeding the chickens is something else that must be done each day. You have to get a sack of chicken feed, go into the chicken yard, and spread it around until all of the chickens have eaten. Another job is salvaging old farm equipment. If anything gets rusted, you have to sand off the rust and paint it with rustproof paint. At the end of everyday, you have to put the saddle on the horse and go out and round up the cows before it gets dark.
