laid-off workers, typically regarded as the victims of economic advancement, are subject to desperation that being unmeployed has brought on them. But, encouragingly, we have witnessed some of them striving hard to rebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demonstrating their values.

Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives, to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.

Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. As for me, I choose to be cheerful.

Given a choice， I would rather be ugly than live in such a world. I'd rather be a genuine dwarf accompanying a Snow White than be a Snow White among nothing but Snow Whites. I would rather be myself. 一、調查目的

我國著名語言學家王力曾經說過：“學外語沒有什么秘訣，就是給予足夠的時間，堅持下去。多聽、多說、多讀、多寫，多查字典。”給英語學習者指明了前進的方向，大學英語閱讀理解作為一種衡量大學生英語閱讀能力的有效題型和手段，大學生一定要準確把握其解題技巧，通過閱讀能力的提升，促進英語水平的提高。英語閱讀水平的高低是衡量英語學習者語言綜合水平的重要體現，是大學生學習英語的手段和目的，是英語學習者其他語言能力發展的基礎。英語學習者通過英語閱讀培養了閱讀能力，并以閱讀能力為基礎去發展其他各種語言能力，如寫、聽、說、譯的能力。隨著閱讀能力的不斷提高，語言知識的不斷增加，英語學習者的閱讀量也會不斷增加，最終達到運用獲得的信息進行交流的目的。就短期目標而言，良好的閱讀技能有助于學生順利通過大學英語四、六級考試，而就長期目標而言，較強的閱讀能力可以讓學生及時獲取所需資料及信息，甚至有利于學生未來事業的發展。因此，大學生應該始終注重對閱讀能力的培養。但是當前大學生英語閱讀中仍然存在著一些問題，為此我們特地組織了這次的調查。

二、調查過程

本次調查采用問卷調查，現場測試和統計報表三種形式。以下就是我們調查的一些數據。

在學期初的第一堂課上， 在沒有任何引導的情況下，老師讓我們班34 名學生按照我們原有的速度和習慣進行閱讀， 通過仔細觀察， 結果發現學生在閱讀中存在以下問題。

(1)有3～4 名同學用直尺比著逐行閱讀。

(2)有5～6 名同學拿筆指著逐字閱讀。

(3)有4～5 名同學邊閱讀嘴唇在不自覺地動。

(4)有些同學在不停地回讀。

(5)有4～5 名同學遇到生詞直接去查電子詞典。

(6)只有1～2 名同學在課本上邊讀邊做一些標記。

(7)有很多同學讀過之后，對每個詞的意思都基本了解，但對全句意思并不是很清楚。

經過分析并且與老師探討， 我們把這些問題歸為三類:

關于閱讀習慣方面的問題(問題1、2、3);

閱讀技巧方面的問題(問題4、5);

閱讀理解方面的問題(問題6、7)。

那么為什么會存在這樣的問題呢？

三、調查分析

首先，我們從閱讀理解方面存在的問題開始分析，主要有以下原因。

1、語言基礎知識掌握不牢固 。詞匯量不足是影響閱讀水平的主要原因，英語詞匯量的大小直接影響讀者對文章的理解。中學生進入大學學習時雖有了一定的詞匯基礎，但多數學生詞匯量不足，還沒有達到熟練運用詞匯的程度。因此，在閱讀過程中，不得不停止連貫的閱讀活動，將注意力放在對某個單詞的猜測上，導致整個閱讀速度的減慢，從而影響了對整篇文章的理解。語法知識雖然已在中學階段系統地學習過，大學階段主要是對語法的靈活運用，但是不少學生對語法的基本概念模糊不清，在閱讀中遇到長句或難句時，理不清句子中各層次間的語法關系，以至造成理解上的偏差。

2、知識面和文化背景知識的障礙 。在英語閱讀過程中，語言知識固然是進行閱讀的基礎，但國與國之間的文化差異往往會對讀者形成文化干擾，造成閱讀短路(指沒有獲得有意義的閱讀)。學生不了解文中涉及的背景知識，只好從字面上理解。英語文章中不僅涉及大量的英語國家的文化、歷史、習俗、政治、經濟、名勝等各種背景知識，還涉及到科學技術的專業知識，如果閱讀時不具備這些知識，必然會影響到對句子段落的理解，并出現誤解。

3、語感差。要提高閱讀能力， 最終得依靠泛讀， 大量的泛讀可以增強語感。語感在閱讀理解中非常重要， 良好的語感會加深對語言的理解， 就會讀得快、讀得多， 反過來再次增強語感， 這樣周而復始的良性循環會很快提高閱讀能力， 就會自如地應對考試中的閱讀理解。如果閱讀量小， 就會語感差， 影響對文章的理解。

4、缺乏大量閱讀 。只靠課堂學習，沒有課外大量泛讀的配合，提高閱讀能力亦是一句空話。課堂閱讀教學不能代替閱讀本身。閱讀能力的提高只有通過大量的閱讀實踐才能實現。但遺憾的是有相當一部分學生不重視泛讀，總以專業課繁忙為由不愿多花時間讀或根本就不讀，錯誤地認為只要背會精讀課本上單詞，會做練習就足夠了。其結果是課外閱讀量越少，對語言的基本形式，諸如語匯、語法和句型就越陌生，讀得也越慢，理解也越差。

接著是閱讀習慣方面存在問題的原因。

在閱讀中視線跟隨指頭或筆頭的移動而移動，或者頭腦中一直讀出并聽到每個詞的發音，回視前文，重復閱讀。這種方式是指在閱讀的過程中遇到某些生詞或對一段文字意義不明確時，反復閱讀已經讀過的部分。這樣會分散注意力，不利于讀者抓住文章的要旨或主題，減少讀者的閱讀興趣；遇到生詞就查字典。該習慣會使學生喪失獨立思考和解決問題能力的自我訓練。

其次是從閱讀技巧方面存在的問題分析原因。

These were some of the chart-toppers announced on the radio while I was at the barbershop a year ago. Quite depressing, huh.

I asked my brother, Joe, why songs that display such unhappiness reach the charts. Joe is an established businessman who is always confident with his viewpoints. He reacted quickly and questioned me in a matter-of-fact tone, “can’t you relate to the song?” He then confidently pointed to the Buddhists’ explanation of happiness, explaining to me that happiness is never a constant state, but rather only a temporary escape from suffering. While I respect the Buddhist explanation, I couldn’t help but ask: so what is keeping you from experiencing happiness? Joe lost his assertiveness when I mentioned this and he replied, “While I gain acceptance from my peers and family, I feel like I’m a nobody. These songs act as a route for me to escape. I don’t see happiness as attainable in my life.”

While Joe transformed from a confident speaker to a soft-spoken melancholic within a matter of a minute, my barber offered him a sympathetic smile. He spoke up. “I was exactly like you - once upon a time, I deceived myself into thinking I was happy. I followed the majority’s norms of a stable job in brokerage and felt I gained society’s acceptance. I was loved! But deep down, I loved songs like these because I felt so useless. I felt that whatever I did made no difference in the world. I found an escape from this mainstream music as a means of explaining myself. Then the next day, I’d put on my suit and be a nobody again.

Then I asked, but how about now? “Now?” The barber said, smiling. “Now, I don’t think this music deserves its place on the charts.” He flipped over to his playlist and played us a song - “Mayfly” by Cheer Chen.

The lyrics goes “Everyday when we open our eyes, we are all mayflies. Living a simple life, chasing a dream vigorously, searching for nothing but happiness.”

“I think this music deserves a place on the charts. I wish people could search for happiness by only looking forward, and be brave enough neglect harsh criticisms and mockeries along the way - just like a mayfly. A mayfly only sees what is ahead of it - why else would their lives be so simple otherwise? I became a barber because I wanted to attain happiness - sure, I experienced disapproval from peers and such, but I did not want to become “a firefly without light”. I find happiness when I mix with trendy young people that are eager to make their customers look better - sure, some may not understand why this brings me happiness, but does it matter?”

My brother Joe and I had a long conversation that evening. We debated vigorously on our different values of happiness - while the conversation with the barber relit my childhood dream of being a conductor, Joe still questions whether stable happiness can achieved even if his dreams are fulfilled. But ultimately, we agreed that one should not let others decide your own standard of happiness. Don’t deceive yourself into sadness and despair; pick yourself up and find your own definition of happiness. Thank you.

結果一堂課中全是機械性的句型單詞短語的操練，這樣的課不僅學生覺得煩，最后連自己都覺得枯燥無味了。真正的英語課堂是應該充滿知識性和趣味性的，既能激發學生的學習興趣又能在樂中學到知識。經過仔細地分析，發現自己的課最缺的是語言知識點的拓展，學生的學習都只是停留在認知層面而很少要求他們學會去用所學知識。在緊接著的后面幾堂教學課中，我大膽的改掉了平日機械的上課方式，將知識點的講解單詞句型的操練及語言知識點的拓寬融為一體，取得了令人較為滿意的效果。

這樣的課充分地發揮了學生的學習自主性，極大地調動了他們的學習興趣。從課堂的實際情況來看，學生們都比較喜歡這樣的上課方式，雖然課程中也有一些操練，但這些都是在適當的時機對知識點的進一步鞏固。

其次，在實習班主任工作方面。按照實習計劃，每個實習生至少要體驗為期一個星期的班主任工作。為了能夠有更多的機會與學生們接觸，我將七天的班主任工作分散到每個星期，平均每周做兩至三天的班主任工作。我所在的實習班級是初一年級(1)班，共有六十一人。剛開始面對這個班的時候，心里慌慌的，生怕這些學生不聽自己的話。

一、實習過程

這次實習我主要負責的是辦公室文秘的工作。第一次走進辦公室，一切都是那么陌生，所有的工作人員都各自忙著，仿佛沒有人注意到我，這讓我本來激動的心情多了一些慌亂。這個時候我想起了在學校時老師對我我們說的一句話，人的適應能力是無窮的。于是我深深的吸了一口氣準備迎接接下來的一個個挑戰。

說是文秘，其實我主要負責的就是打打文件，接接電話。多虧以前的練習，我的打字技術和質量足以應付領導交給我的任務。雖然只是坐了一天，但我還是感覺挺累的，再加上宿舍的簡陋條件，生活真是給我上了意義非凡的一課，以前家長跟我們說一千遍掙錢多不容易，不如我親身經歷一天的感悟。

剛開始的幾天就這么不咸不淡的過去了。在學校學到的東西并沒用到多少，同事們也因為彼此工作沒有交集依然十分陌生。只是見面打招呼的交情。看著他們整天忙碌著，閑暇之余彼此開開玩笑，覺得他們真的是一個集體，而我卻像個局外人般悠閑。我想我不能再這樣下去，于是，在辦公室，有閑的時候就會看一些計算機方面的書，雖然自己所學的專業在此時沒有派上什么用場，但我覺得應該多學點，以豐富自己的能力。

在做打字發傳真等枯燥工作的時候，我不止一次的幻想著公司忽然有英文的文件需要翻譯，在大家焦頭爛額，手足無措的時候，我鎮定的走出來然后利用在學校學到的知識解決這個棘手的問題。但當幻想成為現實的時候，我卻慌了陣腳。因為文件涉及的化學產品，金屬元素等專有名詞我連讀都有困難更不用說翻譯了。我只有達開電腦利用金山詞霸一個個的查。即使這樣還經常是單詞的意思查到了卻連不成句。僅僅四頁紙我翻譯了一天半。

最令我沒有想到的是，我在大二學的國際貿易實務的通選課竟然在我閱讀合同等文件時幫了我很大的忙，也節省了我不少時間。那些時常出現的諸如fob、cif之類的貿易術語都是我們課上最主要的內容。在學習的時候只是單純的背過，并沒有真正了解它們的含義。例如合同，它是履行的依據，是成立的條件，品質、品名、數量、包裝、價格、保險等條款缺一不可。因為涉及雙方的利益，而商家又以追求最大利潤為目標，所以劃分的越詳細，責任也就越明確，也就可以避免一些不必要的糾紛。可見做生意來不得半點馬虎。

實習的另一個關鍵是學習對人怎么說話、態度及其處事。以前老聽哥哥姐姐們念叨還是在學校好，當時還特幼稚的想，學校有老師管著有什么好的啊！現在才看請其實到那里都有人管。在學校可以沒心沒肺的開玩笑，但走上工作崗位之后，說話做事都要謹慎，要有技巧。像我這樣毫無社會經驗的黃毛丫頭，說話做事毫無技術含量，所以最好還是少說多做。

通過兩星期的實習，我對復印、傳真、公文處理等文秘工作都基本熟練。在領到實習工資的那一剎那，我真的有種激動和不安的感覺。那是自己辛辛苦苦工作換來的。多少天的困難和疲憊總算有收獲。但更重要的是，我擁有了一筆豐富的經驗財富，

二、實習感悟

除了第一次工作人人都會有的工作難做社會難處的感悟 之外，我最大的感悟就是真誠所至，金石為開。不管多難做，做好自己的那一份，總有一天會有收獲，只是時間的問題。但如果你不去做，這一天永遠不會像天上掉餡餅那樣到來。

還有我更清楚的看清了自己的不足，除去能力上的不足，我更想說的是心理的不足，這大概是大學生的通病，眼高手低。雖然我所做的不過是一份打雜的工作，更像是文秘助理，但如果我不做，在我后面有很多人等著接替我的職位。職位帶給你的面子，工資帶給你的生活質量都不能是你擇業的首要根據。一個人對工作的態度決定了一個人能否找到工作，并且也決定了一個人能否做好工作。如果一個人眼光總是太高，可能永遠也無法找到一份令自己滿意的工作；相反地，如果一個人能夠從自身實際出發，善于把握眼前的工作機會，并愿意為之付出，那么最后一定會取得工作上的成功。

再有就是關于人際關系方面的感悟。雖說在工作中能力必須有，但如果沒有同事的合作與包容，你可能什么都做不了。以前可能是因為電視劇看的太多的原因，我總是感覺職場上充滿了明爭暗斗，要處事圓滑甚至耍些小聰明才能生存。但在與同事相處的過程中，我覺得更重要的是放大別人的優點，縮小別人的缺點。多站在別人的立場上想問題。電視劇中的情節都過于戲劇話了。另一方面，以前我總是覺得只要忍就可以解決一切問題。通過這兩個星期的實習，我覺得硬生生的通過忍去讓步不如通過考慮別人的

感受作出讓步來的人性化。俗話說。路遙知馬力，日久見人心。捫心自問，打動我們的往往是真誠的人。

回想這兩星期的經歷，從一言不發到基本適應職場生活。讓我更堅信老師說的那句，人的適應能力是無窮的。剛到辦公室的時候除了打字什么也不會，甚至想過放棄。但想到就這么灰溜溜的回去太沒面子，而且還要實習報告，這無形見就給我了不少壓力。雖然這些考慮都看起來很被動但卻讓我一次次的打消了放棄的念頭。通過觀察同事們的工作方法，請教同事，我從有事做漫漫的也忙了起來。忙到我開始忘記剛開始想放棄的原因。這讓我想起一句廣告詞，一切皆有可能！

其實，這次實習也不都是正面積極的讓我感受到人家大愛的經歷。以前總是聽父母嘮叨工作時經常會受上司的“氣”，雖然我只實習了短短兩個星期，我深刻的體會到這“氣”還真不好受。自己心里很不舒服的時候，就干脆想辭職得了。但靜下心來仔細想想，以后總要工作的，在別人手底下工作不都是這樣么？剛開始。就應該踏踏實實的干好自己的工作，畢竟又沒有工作經驗，現在有機會了就要從各方面鍛煉自己。不然，以后干什么都會干不好的。

總之，通過這些感悟，我要更加學會珍惜。要珍惜在學校生活的每一天無憂無慮的生活，要珍惜父母的每一分辛苦賺來的錢。工作以后更要珍惜每一次的工作機會，因為實習使我懂得了它們的重要性，以后我會更加珍惜。

三、實習總結

通過這次實習，不僅收獲了工作和為人處事方面的經驗，對本不是自己專業的文秘工作也有了初步的了解。也看到了自己需要提高的地方，在以后的學習中既要重視對知識的掌握，更重要的是通過每一次珍貴的實習機會，將理論和實際結合起來，為將來更好的適應社會打下基礎。針對以上總結，在今后的學習和生活中我要做到以下五點：

雖然我是英語專業的學生，但畢竟沒有過教學經驗。因此，7月3日，我到“xx”的第二天就開始接受相關培訓。鄧校長真是個認真負責的人，她為我安排了一位專門的指導教師——王老師。在王老師的耐心指導下，我學會了如何寫備課筆記，如何活躍課堂氣氛，如何用簡單的英語句子和同學們進行課堂交流等等。特別是她和另幾名教師教我的小游戲，使我在課堂上很好地調動了學生的積極性，令我受益匪淺!

經過了一段時間的備課聽課和試講，我終于走上了講臺，開始教課啦!

我角的這本教材的特點是單詞量大。所以在教課的過程中，我遇到的第一個困難是如何讓孩子們對枯燥的英語單詞產生興趣。關于這點，我在培訓時準備的游戲幫了我不少忙。我發現學生最喜歡的游戲要數simon says 和snowman.因為這兩個游戲學生可以全班參與，有賞有罰，十分熱鬧。這也是學校里其他老師使用得最多的游戲。

不過，為了使我的課堂有自己的特色，我也想出了幾個其它調動學習單詞的興趣提高學習效率的方法。其中最有效的是領讀單詞這招。每個人都有上進心，都不想被別人比下去，這一點在孩子們身上體現得最明顯。我正是利用了這點，在教單詞時，給孩子們充足的時間自己練習讀熟它們，并讓以不同的形式他們輪流領讀，讀得標準的同學還可以獲得當小老師的機會去較其他人，實力相對弱的同學不僅要接受懲罰，還要成為“別人”的學生，這樣學生為了可以當小老師，為了得到大家的掌聲，一節課下來，幾乎每個同學都可以把單詞讀熟讀好。

一個問題解決了，第二個問題馬上出現了。經過幾次考試，孩子們貪玩的本性實在令我頭痛。全班十二名學生，回家能認認真真背單詞的人不超過五個，怎么辦?在得到幾位老師的意見后，結合我班的情況，我終于想出了幾個辦法!

我遇到的第三個問題就是如何和家長溝通。和家長溝通的內容有兩個方面：一是學生的安全，二是學生的學習。家長和老師最擔心的事不是孩子的學習成績上不來，而是孩子的安全得不到保障。所以我們一旦發現有孩子沒有按時來上課，就會立即通知家長，了解情況。在課間也會有專門的老師保障他們的安全。而當孩子學習上出現問題或取得進步時，我們做老師的也要及時和家長取得聯系，讓他們能夠及時掌握孩子的情況。每次和家長交流前我都要仔仔細細地想一遍一會兒和他們說什么如何說，盡量做到落落大方，表現得成熟些，免得讓家長對自己對學校不放心。

近一個月的實踐經歷告訴我，要想把課講好，在課前必須做好充分的準備。熟記每個知識點，熟悉每篇課文，校準每個單詞的發音，精心安排課堂的每個環節...... 不過，要想使學生從心底里喜歡上你的課，喜歡上你這個老師，我們要做的就不只這些啦。所以我一有時間就和他們聊天，做游戲，了解他們的性格喜好在學校的學習成績甚至是家庭狀況，和他們建立寶貴的友誼。看到我的學生真的把我當成了自己的朋友，有什么好吃的會拿來和我分享，有好玩的游戲會叫上我一起玩兒，甚至會把喜歡的玩具送給我，我覺得自己成了世界上最幸福的人!

教師是個力氣活，勞力，勞腦，又勞心。教師也是良心活，教得好壞多少，得用心中的那桿秤來衡量。當教師還得講策略，要想教好學生，要想學生信服自己，必須和他們交友，不斷琢磨學生的心理，才能做到。

有過同樣經歷的幾位同學曾告訴我，她們當了十幾天的教師就開始厭倦這份工作了。可是，我覺得我的教師癮還沒過夠呢!雖然在這個過程中我累過煩過也抱怨過，甚至有幾次我做夢夢到的都是那幫讓人省不了心的孩子。可我覺得為他們付出值! 每當站在講臺上,被一雙雙純凈的眼睛聚精會神地望著時,作為一名教師的價值感和成就感就油然而生了。

或許是隨著幾天的學習，有的員工感覺越來越難，他們居然不來上課。經理知道后很生氣，給他們了個下馬威，如果學習完一個月后考試不通過,為,的就辭退，考得好的有獎勵。后來再也沒有這種情況出現了。大家都很配合上課，也很用功，在沒有事忙的時候，樓層工作間里都會有他們讀英語的聲音，我也感到很高興，剛開始大家不熟悉的時候沒什么話，但是經過幾天的相處，彼此都認識了，我和他們也靠近了很多，他們有不懂的都主動問，而我也是一遍一遍的耐心教，還給一些因休假而沒有上課的員工補課。雖然讓他們直呼我的名字，但他們還是叫我“梁老師”，面對這個有點為時過早的稱呼，心里終究有點接受不了，也體會到這個神圣的職業背后的酸甜苦辣，做一個老師真的不容易。

但是有一個員工的態度很頑固，她說很討厭英語，看到就頭疼，不想學，所以沒有和我們一起學習。她已經知道經理的規定，但是還是對抗學習，我用盡辦法想說服她，但還是無濟于事。

員工們進入狀態后，學起來也很快了。時間也很快就差不多過了一個月，后面的五天我沒有上新的內容，而是和他們一起復習所有學過的內容，之前的學習我都是在課堂上讓他們強化記憶，現在復習起來也不是很吃力，他們倒希望可以提前考。

終于到了考試的時間，學的都是口語，所以考試形式就是讓他們和自己的搭檔進行情境對話。然后我再問幾個句子，讓他們翻譯過來。他們表現得很好，有一個員工還考出了98分。

當我夸他們都學的非常.本文.由;為好的時候，他們都說是老師教得好。能得到他們的認可，我覺得十分的高興，還沒來的時候我還擔心教不好，畢竟也沒有過這全用上了。有時還幫辦公室的會計整理賬單，一個月下來，不僅嘗試了教學，還體本文來自驗了一點辦公室的工作。也讓我體會到全面發展能力的重要性，雖然自己所學的專業是師范專業，但其他知識的學習也很重要，學好了在出來后都有可能用到。不知道自己以后會不會從事教師這個職業，現在是給他們上了一個月的課，但其實也是給自己上了一堂課，以前覺得自己的性格不適合做老師，但是現在也不是自己想象的那樣完全沒有能力勝任。以后的路還不能確定如何走，但現在可以確定的是先學好知識搜集整理，為以后自己的人生鋪路。
